LOTO Workflow Roles

Smart Safety Pro has three defined roles for the LOTO workflow.

All roles are limited by the scope of the user assignment - Users with assignments to the highest hierarchy node will see everything in the system, whereas a user with an assignment to a single site will only see what is at that site - but the permissions below will apply to everything in their scope

LOTO Admins are allowed to:

  • create and update system-wide configurations on the admin screen, including energy source drop down information, and questions and templates for all inspections.

  • create, update, duplicate, approve, share, and unapprove, LOTO procedures.

  • generate and review custom reports.
  • create and update all users in scope.
  • create and update all equipment in scope.
  • perform periodic inspections, lockout equipment, and return equipment to service.
  • create issues, assign and perform corrective actions.

LOTO Auditors are allowed to:

  • create and update draft LOTO procedures, and submit them for approval.
  • create and update all equipment in scope.
  • perform periodic inspections, lockout equipment, and return equipment to service.
  • create issues, assign and perform corrective actions

LOTO Clients are allowed to:

  • view LOTO procedures.
  • perform lockout equipment, and return equipment to service.
  • create issues, assign and perform corrective actions.
